People say that if your dreams don‘t scare you, they are not big enough. Not when it comes to Linus Cuno. For him, the opposite rings true; if you have big dreams, they‘re gonna scare the heck out of you.
Being busy with avoiding the quest of what he really wanted to do, it was only after changing studies twice and a highly tumultous year of 2017, when he finally faced the musical giant he had been running away from for so many years. It was about time to befriend this unpleasant stranger. It was about time to give music a chance.
After his decision to take some time off of his theological studies in December 2017, Linus Cuno – much to his own surprise – entered a season of what he later called a creative explosion. In only four months his mind gave birth to more than 20 songs, which seemed to have waited his whole life for this moment of release. Using his introspective personality, Linus Cuno‘s songs dive into the highs and lows of life. His exploration of happiness, hope and faith is equally met with a genuine look into sadness, doubt and a brokenness that culminates into a celebration of the human experience.
Inspired by greats such as Queen, Amy Winehouse, Benjamin Clementine and Alicia Keys, Linus Cuno composed and arranged all of his works in his steadily expanding home studio and soon caught the attention of different producers all over Germany. It was the events of summer 2018 that fired the starting pistol for the work on his first studio album, ”The Art Of Life“, to begin. The album is set to be released by the end of 2019.
Linus Cuno impressed his already established and supportive Berlin fanbase with the anticipated March 2019 release of his first RnB and Trap inspired single, „What is it with Love?“ and managed to win over new listeners on all major music platforms. Following this release came the self-directed, animated, and edited music video, which pays tribute to the other creative talents found within Linus Cuno.
Sometimes it only takes a little step to change your life completely. As for Linus Cuno it was the tumultuous year of 2017 that led him to question his life choices and take the first step toward the dream that has always lived inside of him. It was about time to give music a chance!
Inspired by greats such as Queen, Amy Winehouse, John Legend and Alicia Keys, Linus Cuno‘s mind gave birth to more than 20 songs within only a few months that seemed to have only waited his whole life for this moment of relief.
While working on his very first studio album, which ranges between soul, pop, gospel and a touch of rock influences, Linus Cuno already released a separate R‘n‘B and Trap inspired single „What is it with Love?“ in March 2019. Using his talensts of visual artistry, he launched the self-directed, animated and edited music video a week after.

”What is it with Love?“ was first written and produced in October 2019 but only came to realisation in Early 2019.
The R‘n‘B and Trap inspired single tackles the feeling of being too afraid to fall in love.
Varying between soulful singing, rapping and distorted vocals, the song carries the listener through different states of emotions and ends up in a choir-led outro that contrasts the rest of the song with its hopeful and confident disposition.
